As it's a new year the first page you'll need in your journal is a cover page. It can be anything from simply writing the year, to adding an inspirational quote or anything else that takes your fancy.

Future log/year at a glance
A really useful spread to include in the start of any journal is a future log or a year at a glance spread, where you can note down all your important dates and appointments for the year.
